Priority research areas include identifying and exploring forensic markers of physical abuse; examining the use of medication; evaluating programs designed to prevent, deter, detect, investigate, and prosecute abuse; and conducting a rigorous external evaluation of the Orange County Elder Forensic Center, University of California, Irvine.
