Additional Search Techniques
Entering a few key words will often yield satisfactory results, but learning a few common search techniques will help users quickly find what they are looking for.
Wildcard Searches Wildcard searches find variations on word roots. To conduct a wildcard search, type an asterisk at the end of the search word.
For example, "correction*" will find the words "correction", "corrections", or "correctional". This type of search will ensure that you also retrieve the plural forms of the words you search for.

Proximity Searches Proximity searches find words according to their proximity to other words. To conduct a proximity search, type the phrase "within [N]" after the search term(s).
For example, "mothers incarcerated within 10" will find the word "mothers" within 10 words of the word "incarcerated."
