Since its founding in 1984, OJP has provided Federal leadership in developing the Nation's capacity to prevent and control crime, administer justice, and assist crime victims. It also develops information about crime and its related legal and social implications. OJP's bureaus and offices provide Federal leadership and administer Federal grants, provide training and technical assistance, support technology development and research, and collect and disseminate statistics. This report describes program funding opportunities, training, technical assistance, and other resources for the following areas: law enforcement; corrections; courts; juvenile justice; crime victims; substance abuse and crime; terrorism and domestic preparedness; technology to fight crime; research, statistics, and evaluation; tribal justice; and "other resources."
