Procedures Application forms can be obtained from the Criminal and Law Enforcement Injuries Compensation Board, police stations, district offices of the Home Affairs Department, medical social services units, and Social Security Field Units of the Social Welfare Department. Applications are also available online. When the criminal incident, as stated by the victim or applicant, has been confirmed by the police, the application will be processed and a decision will be made about whether compensation is payable. The applicant will be notified in writing of the board's decision.
